For best results, use a hammer hitting each spike evenly. If one or more spikes comes in contact with a rock, remove spike or bend it out of the way.

To Keep Pets In:

Install from outside of pen, driving unit in at a slight angle(towards pet). On deep problem spots, install a second unit on opposite side offence driving straight into the hole locking in the first unit.

To Keep Predators Out:

Install from inside of your pen driving unit in the ground at a slight angle (towards predator).

To Hold Fence Down:

Place the spikes over the bottom wire of your fence. When filling a gap in a wooden privacy fence, install from the outside of your fence simply driving the unit in at a slight angle toward the inside of pen. Stop driving when the top lateral wire is even with bottom of fence.

For best results,

On a wooden privacy fence, install from outside of fence driving unit in at a slight angle. Stop driving when the top lateral wire is even with the bottom of the fence. If wood is being chewed, install from inside of fence straight into ground and attach top lateral wire with a staple.
